The Papatoetoe Schools' Kapahaka Celebration

Last week, Kapahaka groups from around Papatoetoe gathered at Papatoetoe North School to put on a concert. It was a fantastic day and all of the schools put in a lot of effort. The Kapahaka group from Papatoetoe East were outstanding and we were very proud of the way they performed and represented our school. Here are some highlights from the concert.

A4 LOVED this post, I couldn't be there for the performance obviously but I felt if I was there, watching it was very powerful, I thought that all the schools did really well. One thing that I really liked was the fact that you'd linked the video to the full version of the video on Youtube, I thought that that was really clever. The performances were just amazing.

We liked your kapahaka girls and boys. You were almost professional guys. I like the way that you all performed. Awesome Haka boys. We like your song and you all had clear voices. Awesome work and very professional.

The Kapa Haka was nice. The clothes that they were wearing was cool and beautiful. We thought that it was only going to show Papatoetoe East's kapa Haka but it didn't.
