Preparing the Garden

On Monday, we got our garden bed ready for planting. We had to dig out the old plants and weeds. Then we added sheep poo and compost to the soil, to make it nice healthy for the new plants.

What should we plant in our garden? We would like some advice on what we should plant at this time of the year. Please let us know by leaving us a comment.

The garden looks great! I just planted some lettuce in my garden and it is growing very well. I also planted pak choy and I have been eating it for dinner!

You worked so hard to get that garden ready for planting and now it is ready to go. My gardening book says that we can plant cabbages, lettuces and broccoli. We can also plant some flowers.

Hi A4, the garden is looking awesome! I think you should try planting spinach, it always seems to grow and grow in my garden, no matter what the time of year.
