Bong Trees

We have been creating bong trees. We took our inspiration from the poem The Owl and the Pussycat, by Edward Lear. Here is an animated version of the poem that we found on You Tube. Look out for, "The land where the bong tree grows."

Here is a slideshow of the bong trees we created, using metallic paint.

I love that poem A4. My mum used to read it to me at bedtime when I was a little girl. You pictures of bong trees are great. What cool imaginations you have!

I liked it when they went to get the ring from the pig and when they went in the boat.

What amazing bong trees you have drawn, I always wondered what they looked like. Did you see any at the botanical gardens?

Hi Helen. We looked for bong trees everywhere at the Botanical Gardens and couldn't find any. We looked for the owl and the pussy cat too, but couldn't find them either. But we did find some dinosaur footprints.
