Last week, we were talking about the letter p. So Miss Lepou brought in some peanuts for us to try. We had a lot of fun exploring and eating.

| When we shook the peanuts something rattled inside |

| We tried a lot of different ways to open them, like dropping them on the floor |
 |
| We tried biting the peanut to open the shell |
 |
| When we opened them, we found out there were two peanuts inside! |
They were delicious to eat!

Did you know that sometimes they are called groundnuts because they grow in the ground, not on trees like other nuts.
