The Walrus

As part of our Under the Sea study we have been learning about a lot of different creatures that live in the sea. Here is a poem about a walrus written by Jack Prelutsky.

Did you know that the two large tusks that walruses have are actually teeth that they use to pull themselves out of the water?

That was a funny sound. Ayush thinks he sounds like a monster.

We know that poem as well. We think the sound at the end of the poem is the walrus calling for its baby. Solomon thinks it's a baby calling to its mother for help.
