Thanks A4. My husband, Jason, was going to be lighting the fireworks on Friday night so I showed him your stories. He was very careful and made sure he stood well back after lighting them. We made sure our cats were inside so they wouldn't be frightened and we got a bucket of water ready. We had a good time and kept safe. I hope you all had fun too.
Dear A4 I think you have some great rules for keeping safe with fireworks. My cat wasn't very happy with all of the loud noises, so I made sure that he stayed inside.

Those are very good rules. We can think of another one. Always have a bucket of water ready when you are lighting fireworks. Just in case you need it!

We had a lot of fun because we had sparkles.
We had crackers and those sparkles and shooting fireworks.
I had a big firework and I had fun because my dad was lighting them for me. My Mum didn't like the smell of the fireworks.
My firework exploded and it fell down on the plants. But luckily it was raining.
I wrote my name with my sparkle and my baby sister was scared so she dropped hers on the ground.
