Tongariro Wakes Up!

On Monday night at 11.50pm, Mt Tongariro erupted after laying dormant for over 100 years.

B6 was buzzing with the news and we wrote some magnificent stories.

Here is a story by Soane.

Hi Soane,
We are Year 1 children at Springston School and we think your story about the volcano means you are very brave. We live where there have been a lot of earthquakes, but we are used to them now, and they hardly worry us at all. But volcanoes are scary! We think you read your story very well. We have been writing stories too, and you might like to read some of ours sometime. On our blog we are called Pathfinders.

Hi Pathfinders, thank you for your comment. It must be so scary to have earthquakes at your school. We will definitely check out your class blog.
