We have been creating bong trees. We took our inspiration from the poem The Owl and the Pussycat, by Edward Lear. Here is an animated version of the poem that we found on You Tube. Look out for, "The land where the bong tree grows."
Here is a slideshow of the bong trees we created, using metallic paint.

They are some of the Bongiest trees I've seen. Fabulous art guys.
The poem is cool and I like it.
That was a beautiful poem and liked the bong trees and I liked what Miss Lepou wrote.
I liked the song because it was good.
I liked it when the owl and the pussy cat were kissing.
I love that poem A4. My mum used to read it to me at bedtime when I was a little girl. You pictures of bong trees are great. What cool imaginations you have!
I like the bong trees and they were fun to draw.
I like the bong trees. They were painted nicely.
I liked it when they went to get the ring from the pig and when they went in the boat.
I like the bong trees because they are cool.
What amazing bong trees you have drawn, I always wondered what they looked like. Did you see any at the botanical gardens?
Hi Helen. We looked for bong trees everywhere at the Botanical Gardens and couldn't find any. We looked for the owl and the pussy cat too, but couldn't find them either. But we did find some dinosaur footprints.
ME AND ZECHARiAH LIKED THAT STORY
